Sunflowers!
We have Sunflowers at New Life Bible Church. They are beautiful! We have had hundreds of people visit our Campus to see the Sunflowers and many questions have come up. In this article we will try to answer most of them.
How much does it cost?
Absolutely Free! There is no cost to get in or to pick a bouquet. If you would like to make a donation there is a QR code on a sign near the North entrance that will take you to Paypal to make a donation. BUT We do not expect a penny! Enjoy a blessing from New Life
Who Owns the flowers/field?
New Life Bible Church sits on 22 acres of beautiful land and we own it all. The Sunflowers are ours… the path around our campus, the woods and playground all belong to New Life. We want you to be blessed by it all.
Can I pick a sunflower?
Yes! Pick a bouquet and enjoy it! And remember… it’s FREE! We want to be a blessing!
Can we take pictures?
Yes! If you do and you post the pictures to Social Media, Please Tag New Life Bible Church.
Why is New Life doing this?
WE LOVE OUR COMMUNITIES! We want to put smiles on the faces of our community and be a blessing. Covid and life have been tough on many and we want to bring a little joy and beauty to our community.
What are you going to do with the “extra” flowers?
We are working with a farmer friend who is figuring that out. Right now we just want the communities around the church to enjoy the campus. We want to be a blessing.
Why don’t you sell the flowers?
Because we are not doing this for money. We are doing this bless our communities (See a theme yet?) :)
What is there to do at New Life?
When you pull on to our campus, you will see 13 acres of Sunflowers. You are welcome to take pictures, pick or just take in the beauty. You can also walk the path around our 22 acres and see more flowers and our woods. Kids will love our playground, sand volleyball, carpet ball tables and basketball court. It is also a great idea to bring your dinner and spread out a blanket and have a picnic.
What is New Life like?
New Life is a fun and active church with great people. We have awesome children’s and youth ministries. We actually have something for every age group. We are focused on loving God and loving people. We would love for you to just check us out and see what God is doing at New Life. Sunday services are filled with great worship music and relevant teaching from the Bible. Come as you are and see what God is doing at New Life.
Are you doing this again next year?
Yes… This was our first year and we were not even sure any Sunflowers would grow…. We plan on making it “friendlier” for pictures and picking flowers next year.
