Hey New Life!

We’re excited to continue to partner with the Pecatonica Community Food Pantry in the new year! We will once again be having a monthly focus where we collect a certain item the pantry is in need of. This month (January 2024), we will be collecting canned pasta’s such as ravioli, spaghetti-o’s, mac & beef, etc. Please leave donations in the hallway on the shelves. Thank you in advance for your donations this month!

Looking back on 2023, we wanted to give some updates on your contributions as a church in terms of your generosity. First off, we want to say thank you from us at New Life! We are super blessed to have such a generous church that is willing to do the Lord’s work in providing for those in need in our communities. We also thank you on behalf of the pantry; they are super grateful for your support throughout the year!

Now on to the numbers:

In 2023, we collected specific food items for 11 months (January-November) and monetary donations to go towards Holiday Boxes in December. As a church, we collected 1,140lbs of food this year to donate! In December, you gave through monetary donations and were able to sponsor over 85 families this holiday season. Because of your generosity last month, 80+ families in need got to have a Christmas dinner in our area!

The Food Pantry is located at 527 Main St. in Pecatonica and is open on the dates listed above to anyone in need!
