Reopening Recap
On October 4, 2020, New Life transitioned from one service inside and one parking lot/tailgate service to three inside services. A lot of prayer, thought, planning and work went into the process of reopening for inside services. We had a great Sunday and it was awesome to hear our sanctuary filled with worship. The two early services had great numbers and our spacing was very good and there was plenty of room for all. Our third service (11:15AM) was very small, but great! There is plenty of room to grow and still be at recommended distancing from the Winnebago County Health Department and the CDC.
Kidzone reopening during the entire service went very well too. Even though we do not like having the children out the entire service, we felt that it is necessary for space and safety. WE LOVE HAVING THE CHILDREN IN THE SANCTUARY DURING WORSHIP and we will go back to that when the time is right.
A huge “Thank you” to all our staff and volunteers who are doing above and beyond what has been expected of them. Our Cleaning crew, finance/ offering ministry, Kidzone Ministry, Media Ministry, Worship Team and Meg’s Daily Grind made our reopening happen smoothly and safely.
We will continue our three services this Sunday at 8:30AM 10:00AM and 11:15AM along with streaming online at 8:30AM (Video of our service will be available anytime after 8:30AM). Thank you for all your support, love and grace as we reopen.
